Executive Committee

The Executive Committee of the CWD is responsible for issuing the CWD with its annual programme of activities, ensuring that the activities on the working plan are carried out, coordinating the work of the CWD and the working groups and setting and monitoring the tasks to be performed by the secretariat. The Committee meets once a month (except in July and August).

The members of the Committee are:

  • Hélène Ryckmans, chairwoman
  • Maggi Poppe, vice-chairwoman
  • Françoise Guillitte, vice-chairwoman
  • Sabine Kakunga
  • Katinka In'T Zandt

 

Secretariat

The secretariat performs the following tasks:

  • Monitoring and compiling opinions on strategy papers;
  • Organising events (international conferences, study days, etc.);
  • Drawing up the budget and managing accountancy procedures;
  • Acting as secretary to the Executive Committee and at plenary sessions;
  • Supporting the working groups;
  • Updating the database regularly;
  • Monitoring publications and communication;
  • Taking part in the Gender Network and other networking activities.
