Special Evaluation Office

The Special Development Cooperation Evaluation Unit is an external office created by Royal Decree (PDF, 1.21 MB) tasked with the evaluation of all activities of the Federal State that are recognized as official development assistance.

The Unit draws up every year a programme of priorities in consultation with all parties concerned.

The Special Evaluator also drafts an annual report, for submission to the Minister for Development Cooperation, on the findings and lessons to be learned from the evaluations. The Minister submits this report to Parliament.
