The FPS Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation has undertaken a wide range of communication activities to increase European citizens' awareness of the EU and its policies, targeting young people and schoolchildren in particular.
Here are some of the most recent activities carried out by the FPS Foreign Affairs in this area.
- Building Europe" Puzzle: The FPS has published a map of the 27 EU Member States (+3 candidate countries) in the form of a self-adhesive puzzle intended for primary schoolchildren. Schools can obtain bulk copies of the puzzle free of charge at the following addresses (no postal delivery):

The data sheets provide essential information on the EU's history, values, institutional functioning, ambitious achievements and concrete actions in favour of citizens.
