Loss or theft
If a Belgian passport is lost or stolen, the holder must immediately report this to the police services responsible for either the place where the loss or theft occurred or for his or her place of residence.
When outside of Belgium, the holder must report the loss or theft to the local police or, if this is not possible, to the police services responsible for his or her place of residence.
Belgian citizens must also report a lost passport to docstop on + 32 (0) 2 518 2123.
