The Directorate-General Political Affairs, Security and Defence (DG PSD) develops and supports Belgian foreign policy in the areas of peace, security and defence. The Directorate analyses international political developments and helps to shape Belgium’s positions. It collaborates with national and international partners on security, human rights, migration and defence. In addition, it strengthens the role of the FPS as a key player in security policy.
