The special law adopted on 13 July 2001 stipulates that the Regions’ competence extends to marketing and export policy.
The regionalisation of this policy on promoting trade has involved individual companies more closely in propping up exports. And the respective regional agencies for the promotion of exports have been scoring some major successes ever since.
