Calls for tender

The Special Evaluation Office is launching an open call for tender for the evaluation of the Belgian contribution to the Multilateral Development Banks (MDB’s) over the period 2017-2025.

The objective of the evaluation is described in the specifications as follows:

The evaluation aims to analyse the effectiveness, efficiency, relevance and coherence of the Belgian partnership with the MDBs over the period 2017-2025. It should answer the question of the extent to which, and how, the pursued policy has contributed to the realisation of the intended Belgian policy results, in view of current and future geopolitical developments.

The evaluation should assess the extent to which the partnership with the MDBs during the period in question has contributed, and still contributes, to defending the priorities of Belgian development cooperation and to exerting influence on decision-making within these institutions. In addition, it is expected that conclusions and lessons will be drawn from this analysis for future policy choices, priorities and cooperation arrangements in a radically changing multilateral context.
