Directorate P4 manages states visits, officials visits and working visits.

Overflight and landing permissions

For an official visit to Belgium by State flight, i.e. governmental, civilian or military, diplomatic overflight and landing clearances must be requested.

If the senior official arrives in Belgium on a State flight (i.e. governmental), or a civil or military flight, diplomatic overflight and landing clearance must be requested.

Requests must be submitted at least 72 hours before departure.

Each request must be submitted by verbal note and by email to diploclearance@diplobel.fed.be.

The forms for civil or military state flights and the flight plan must be attached to the verbal note.

The Protocol Directorate (Visits.protocol@diplobel.fed.be) must be copied on these requests.
