The fifth meeting of the Cercle diplomatique du Sablon since its creation was dedicated to Belgian gastronomic excellence. On this occasion, the event was combined with Protocol Days, two days of training on protocol for both members of the diplomatic corps and our staff.
This exclusive evening showcased Belgian expertise through a selection of iconic exhibitors. Guests had the opportunity to discover and taste products that contribute to Belgium's gastronomic reputation.
Among the exhibitors present were:
- Vineyards, including the Domaine du Chant d'Éole, Château de Bousval, Château de Bioul, and Château de Fumal, true ambassadors of high-end Belgian wines.
- The Belgian Brewer, the professional association of Belgian brewers, which presented a dozen craft beers with authentic flavors.
- Maison Dandoy, a veritable institution whose biscuits embody tradition and quality.
- The Belgian, a renowned chocolatier, recently associated with the princely mission to Los Angeles, as was Dely Waffles.
These establishments created a refined and welcoming atmosphere, offering participants a unique culinary experience.
This event perfectly illustrates one of the aims of the Cercle diplomatique du Sablon: to promote Belgian excellence among members of the diplomatic corps and to strengthen the links between diplomacy, culture, and Belgian expertise.
Relive the atmosphere of this exceptional evening.
